In this role, you will be part of our growing finance department with international scope. Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for the A-to-Z accounting of Sofico NV (Belgium) and our legal entities in The Netherlands, France, Germany, UK and Mexico.
Your main tasks will be:
Processing accounting transactions (general and analytical) and ensuring a timely and correct monthly closing of the accounts. This includes
Purchase and sales invoices
Preparing outgoing payments
Processing of bank and cash transactions & monitoring bank balances
Taking care of monthly VAT-returns and intra-community declarations
Preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Preparation of annual accounts.
Preparation and follow-up of intercompany transactions and payments
Supporting internal (financial) systems and other administrative processes, financial audit, (financial) reporting, ...
After an introductory period during which you will master the accounting and business-specific processes and depending on your learning curve, you will be given final responsibility for one or more legal entity(ies).

You have a Bachelor/Master in Accountancy/Tax and can look back on at least 3 years of relevant experience in A-Z accounting, preferably in an international environment in the services industry.
You are a go-getter feeling comfortable in taking on new projects.
It goes without saying that you are passionate about data and numbers and you value accuracy.
You are in your element in an international yet hands-on company. You know how to tackle things and would like to grow in the rapidly evolving, international Sofico story.
You have a positive attitude and show eagerness to make the difference for Sofico.
You master Excel and get acquainted quickly with accounting software. Experience with Exact Globe is a plus.
With your excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, you ensure a good interaction with customers, vendors and colleagues across the globe. Knowledge of French, Spanish or German is a plus.
