About the job

Your main responsibilities will be

Do you like analyzing complex problems and coming up with creative solutions? Then you might be a good fit for the role of Business Consultant.

As a Business Consultant, you will help customers by rethinking their business processes, coming up with innovative ways to make improvements, while implementing the different Miles solutions.

You will do this as part of a project team, that manages projects at top companies in the Netherlands or abroad. So, you’re interested to travel up to 50% of your time.

Of course, you’ll first get a couple months of training, to get familiar with best practices, the different Miles Solutions and set you up for success.

On day 1, we’ll give you all the practical information and make sure you’ll be able to drive home in your company car.

In week 1, you’ll get a first introduction to the leasing sector, the software, and the tooling that you will use daily.

Week 2 is a full week of Miles Functional training, in which you will go through each module of the ERP software ‘Miles’ to understand all the different functionalities.

After that, you’ll learn how to conduct a workshop to gather requirements, you’ll develop your consulting skills, and learn how to advise customers about their business processes.

You’ll also receive training in the project methodologies, so you understand the implementation process from A to Z.

This will be followed by three weeks of Configuration training. In this training, you’ll learn the ins and outs of ‘Miles’ and how to adjust it completely to the needs of the client.

After that, you’ll continue learning on the job with your job coach. He or she will be your go-to person with questions about the job, the software, and the company.

And at the end of the 6 months, you’ll get to set up your own personal development plan based on your competencies, interests, and ambitions. Coaching and training are offered to support you in your growth.

Your interests and skills

You recently obtained a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (Business) Economics or IT.

You have strong analytical skills and like to dive into complex questions. You're eager to learn and looking to take on a challenge.

You’re looking for a job with a social aspect and easily communicate with customers and team members. And you do this fluently in English and Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

You have an affinity with or a strong interest in IT.
