What the job is about

As our business is continuously growing, we are looking at expanding our Marketing and Communication team with an experienced Digital Marketeer.

What kind of company is Sofico, you ask? Good question! Sofico is a software company where everyone is working around our own ERP-software package. Whether it is consulting, developing or the architecture around it, we have the expertise in-house. Our HQ is in Ghent, but we have no less than 7 other offices worldwide. Next to our Miles offering we are actively expanding our product portfolio with SaaS based solutions.

Our ERP-software is called ‘Miles’ and is meant for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. It’s an end-to-end solution encompassing front-, mid- and back-office functions that can be extensively customized to the customers’ needs. Our customers are leasing and finance companies, and mobility management companies in the automotive sector.

As a Digital Marketeer you will be, together with our global Marketing & Communication team, carrying out the marketing & communication strategy. This means that you will develop, plan and execute demand generation marketing programs and support the sales team with relevant promotion material (whitepapers, flyers, campaigns). You will also be:

  • Planning and execution of all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, e-mail, social media and display advertising campaigns.

  • Designing, building and maintaining Sofico's social media presence.

  • Assisting in outbound or inbound marketing activities (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning...)

  • Organizing the local users and global client forum.

  • Creating content for own media like Sofico website, social media, press releases and customer and internal events.

  • Supporting the HR team in all employer branding related activities, including social media, jobfairs, career portal etc.

You will report to the Global Business Development & Marketing Manager. Last but not least, you will part of a small but energetic Marketing and Communication team where everyone has its own expertise.

Your Interests and Skills

With your strong interpersonal skills you can successfully network at different levels. You can easily bring people together through your expertise and enthusiasm and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues).

You can work independently, are hands-on and have excellent presentation and communication skills.

What else is expected:

·       Several years of experience in a demand generation, marketing or similar role.

·       A thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO, social media etc.) and market research methods.

·       Experience with B2B and account-based marketing (ABM) and thus have strong planning and organizing skills.

·       A basic understanding of the sales pipeline funnel.

·       Experience using Salesforce, Hubspot, Pardot or other marketing automation platforms.

·       Solid computer skills: MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web Analytics, Google Adwords etc.). Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools is a nice plus.

·       You are fluent in English and Dutch, any other language is a plus.
