Business Development Manager

The Role

  • Produce new business sales revenue from a subscription-based license model & professional services.

  • Utilise your business development strategies through account planning, territory planning, researching prospect customers, completing field-based sales activities within a defined set of prospects, clients & territory to create and manage sales pipeline within APAC region.

  • Build trust and deep multi-tiered relationships through assigned prospects’ organization, from business/project/IT teams to CXO level.

  • Be a trusted advisor to your prospects by understanding their business and advising on how Sofico can help their Business & IT roadmap.

  • Identify the right specialist resources to bring into a deal, at the right time.Work with the greater Sofico solution teams to develop a solution based on the prospect’s strategic aspirations, transitioning business development to implementation of project

  • Achieve financial targets set out for the assigned territory.

  • Use your technical & analytical capabilities to enhance sales.

The Right Fit for the Role: 

  • 5+ years of business development experience within software OR solutions sales organization.

  • Exposure to APAC region

  • Previous business development  experience in finance & leasing, and/or automotive.

  • Expert in analysing customer requirements to ensure accomplishment of customers objectives and requirements.

  • Experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and other teams.

  • Experience producing new business, negotiate deals, and maintain healthy C-Level relationships.

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.

  • Experience promoting a customer success focus in a "win as a team" environment.

  • The ability to understand broad, macro-level business IT needs for a prospective client.elf-motivated, goal orientated with a positive mind-set.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (depending on geography/region).

  • You must have the right to work within Australia.
