Senior Business Consultant IT - ERP Implementations

Your main responsibilities will be

You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary unit, responsible for the full range of services for our customers in Germany. This includes implementation projects, customer & core software enhancements, post-go-live support, account management. You will be based in Germany, but will also work on projects abroad.

Your role will primarily encompass supporting our existing customers in their use of our software and implementing our system for new customers.

In your support role, you are the focal point towards the customer. You will handle the ticket intake; analyze the problem, ask the customer the appropriate questions in order to qualify the issue, and assign it within the organization. You will follow up on the progress, monitor the planning, and inform the customer about the status on a regular basis. You will inform the customers about general matters.

As Business Consultant you will be involved in software implementation projects. You will help our customers think about their present and future situation and facilitate the optimization of business processes and improve operational efficiencies by conducting workshops. You will translate requirements into functional analyses and internally follow up developments, perform tests and implement the rollout of new developments. You will also be involved in data migration and the configuration of reporting tools.

You will have the opportunity to broaden the scope of your job and be involved in more technical or commercial roles e.g. Implementation Consulting, account management, Project Management... 

You will report to the project manager and/or lead consultant.

Your interests and skills

Required Experience and Qualifications

• You have an excellent academic record, preferably a degree in an IT-related subject or in economics.
• You are able to master technical and business subjects in order to identify the best solution for our customers. You are IT literate and have more than 5 years of experience in software implementation projects, mainly ERP projects.
• You have the ability to quickly absorb and understand the customer’s business, think creatively, and come up with innovative solutions to business problems.
• You are fluent in English and have at least a German C1 level (proficient use).
• You will be expected to travel regularly to our head office in Belgium as well as to other customer sites.
• You are prepared to travel (up to 50%).
